Greetings (Good afternoon!) (1 min)
Meeting after holiday (How are you? How did you spend your holiday? Where did you go?) (3 min)
Acquaintance with the new book (looking through the book, its pictures etc) (1 min)
New theme. (35 min)
Meeting new characters of the book (Students book page 4 ex 1). Questions: What are their names? Who is he/she? How does he/she look like? New lexis: neighbour, canary. (3 min)
Skimming the text (Students book page 4 ex 2). (3 min)
Listening the text on the tape-recorder twice. (6 min)
Reading of the text and translation. (13 min)
Questions of the text: (6 min)
What is the Cordon’s new address?
Who is the youngest?
What hobbies does Alex have?
Who is the oldest child?
How many pats do they have?
Does Mrs. Gordon like the garden?
The game: “Find the item on the picture” (items: guitar, tiger, flower, fish etc). (4 min)
