План – конспект учебного занятия по английскому языку в 6 классе по теме «Every country has its symbols»


Тема: Every country has its symbols


Цель: развитие речевых навыков по теме «My Fair Land»

Задачи:

- активизация лексических единиц, развитие навыков говорения;

- развитие памяти, внимания;

- воспитание чувства интернационализма, уважения к национальным символам страны.

Оснащение: учебник «Английский язык 6 класс» Н.В.Юхнель, картинки достопримечательностей, буквы, ежики, слова «колючки», словарная «змейка», записи «Песняров», презентация National symbols of France, Great Britain, Belarus, распечатки с заданиями, рисунки цветов, листочки с вопросами.


Ход урока:


I. Оргмомент

The best way to improve your mood is to say a simple, but very important word "Hello!" Say "Hello!" to each other and smile! Your mood has improved and I hope it will be like this up to the end of the lesson, during which we'll speak about different countries and their symbols.


II. Объявление темы, целей урока

If you name all the pictures you see on the blackboard correctly, we'll make up the topic of our lesson, using the first letters of each word. And the word is ... symbols. We are going to speak about different symbols of different countries. Let's start our trip! First, we need to pack our suitcase with some important things - words, presents and to see what countries we are going to.


III. Фонетическая разминка

By the way, which country would you like to visit most of all? What do you want to learn about it?


IV. Повторение изученного материала

Two funny hedgehogs will help us to understand which countries to go to. But they don't know the difference between countries and capitals. Let's help them and they will help us.

V. Введение нового материала. Тренировка

During our trip we'll be in need of some words: p.52. Read them after me first, in pairs, in small groups. Match the word and its transcription.

Divide a "snake" with some more useful words.

If you are not able to cope with the words, see the presentation. All the unknown words will be explained there. Continue dividing the snake while you are watching the presentation (National symbols of France, Great Britain, Belarus).

Prepare some presents for children from the countries you've just visited. One group is to draw the flag of France, the other - the flag of Scotland. Describe them.



VI. Физкультминутка.

Listen to the music. You are in Belovezhskaya Puscha. What animals do you see there?


VII. Закрепление изученного материала

Fill in the blanks with the following words:

  • What are the national symbols of Belarus?

  • The cornflower is the symbol of our fields, isn’t it?

  • Is the bison or the bear the symbol of Belovezhskaya Puscha?

X. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия

Flower is also a symbol, a symbol of good mood and your good - or not very good - work. Choose a blue flower if you appreciate your work at the lesson as good and a red flower if you think that your work was not very good. Your marks for the lesson are good and excellent.
