ARMENIA №1 | |

| Meet the first performers. They have come from Armenia. To visit Armenia is to travel back in history and feel the spirit of more than 41 centuries. Armenia offers a little something for every person. The country has hundreds of unique Christian monuments, amazing sites, waterfalls, skyscraping mountains and wonderful people. |
2. | Wrestling, weightlifting, judo, chess and boxing are the most popular sports in Armenia. In Armenia, it is traditional for the groom and his family to pay for the wedding. Jazz music is very popular in Armenia. Mount Ararat is the highest mountain in Armenia. Armenians are known for their great cuisine, their great hospitality, and that they were the first Christians on Earth. |

4. | Belarus is a country of blue lakes, green forests, long rivers and amazing countryside! Belarusians enjoy food that is slowly cooked or stewed. They eat lots of vegetables, meat and bread. They eat very little for breakfast. Dinner is the biggest meal of the day. Since 2004, Belarus has sent artists to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest. |

2. | Belgium is a beautiful country to the west of Europe. Brussels is the capital of Belgium. Belgium is famous for its medieval castles and Gothic cathedrals. This country is famous for different flavors of beer, chocolates, and waffles. The Belgian motorway system is the only man-made structure that is visible from the moon. |
1. | Belgium is the world's diamond center. The diamond capital of the world is Antwerp. People of Belgium are fond of animals and each Belgian household would have at least one cat or a dog. |

Georgia is considered to be the cradle (колыбель) of winemaking. Georgians are famous for their hospitality. The Georgian dances are famous for their unique character and speed. Each region in Georgia has their own music and dance, with specific costumes. Georgian cuisine is tasty. |

1. | Many imagine Iceland to be a very cold place with frozen landscapes, which is partly true. However, this island country in the North Atlantic Ocean has much more to offer. Iceland is called the Land of Fire and Ice. |
2. | Many Icelanders believe in elves. Icelanders often say: “If the first calf born during the winter is white, the winter will be a bad one” and “If you sneeze three times before breakfast on a Sunday, you will gain something in that week.” Iceland’s main industry is fishing. Icelanders are extremely proud of their Viking heritage and have preserved it in art, music and festivals. |

4. | Latvia is a country located in Northern Europe. The Latvian anthem is titled ‘God Bless Latvia’. Over 30,000 different Latvian folk songs have been created over the last few thousands of years. Latvia is called “the singing nation”. It is unusual to find a Latvian who has not sung in a choir. |
