To present and practice to use the new words of colours
To revise and give further practice possessives of “-‘s” for singular and “-s’ ” for plural forms
To enable the pupils to choose the right answers
To enable pupils to describe the colours of our national flag

Detailed description of lesson:
Step 1 Organizational moment.
Everyday classroom expressing-Greeting.
I’ll ask duties to report about the weather, day, and date, checks pupils’ attendance and homework and evaluate pupils.
Step 2. Reflection: Clarifying necessities
Activity 1: Play Simon says
Objective: to warm up
I’ll divide the class into groups and ask them to stand in a line. Using the “Simon says …” they try to do what is said.
e.g.: T: Simon says “stand up” or Simon says “open your books”
Step 3. Procedure of the lesson
I’ll ask pupils to look at the words and match them with the colours. They look at the Wordlist. And I’ll check If they can use the words to make up sentences. I’ll ask them to practice writing the new words.
I’ll tell pupils to repeat the new words. After it I’ll show them colored cards or pencils they tell the colour to practice them
I’ll ask pupils to look at the remember box. I’ll explain the structure of possessives of “-‘s” for singular and “-s’ ” for plural forms and “Whose … is green?”.
After explaining them I’ll tell them draw and colour the kites write sentences.
Then they do the Play “whose pen is red”. In this play they choose one of their things and show each other and one pupils asks whose pen/ pencil/crayon is red/yellow/blue. In order the play goes on.
I’ll ask them to read aloud below mentioned sentences.

Step 4. Consolidation.
I’ll review all the materials. It is time to remember and answer to the questions which I distributed during the lesson.

What is red?
Step 5. Assessment and Outcomes
I’ll give marks to students and give them homework and explain how to do thw homework. The homework is to do the exercises which is given on page 68 of the class book.
