Pupil: Our homework was to write a story about shops in London we would like to visit, why, what we would like to buy there.
T: Let us listen to you and try to understand what shops the speaker is going
to visit and what he is going to buy. Work in pairs.

T:What shops is he going to visit and what is he going to buy?
Pupil: He is going to visit thе jeweler’s and he is going to buy a ring for his mother. He will also visit the optician’s and buy sunglasses for himself. He will go to the shopping mall and buy jeans for his brother.

T: There are real maps of Oxford street in London on your desks.It’s the main shopping street. I explain you the way and you follow my instructions and say what shop we visit now.
T: You are in Oxford street opposite Mark and Spencer’s shop. Go straight along Oxford street. Cross Orchard street. Cross Duke street. Stop opposite Bond street station. Turn left. What shop do we visit? (Слайд 3)
Pupil: We visit the Disney store.
T: Now work in pairs. Show the way to your partner according to my model and see if he comes to the right shop.

Teacher: Now make up your own dialogues according to the model (Слайд 6)and using the correct intonation for questions. The situation is: you have or you're wearing something new. Your friend comments on it. Use this dialogue as a model. Act out your dialogue.
